Fundit Charity Reflections – WWF “Advocacy with excellence”

There are only eight nations in the entire world who are lucky enough to house one of the world’s most admired creatures “ursus maritimus” or polar bears as they are most commonly referred. IMG 5380 300x225 Fundit Charity Reflections WWF Advocacy with excellence

These beautiful white furry mammals evolved from brown bears nearly 200,000 years ago in colder climates, specifically; the United States, Canada, Russia, Greenland and Norway.

Canada is home to approximately 80% of the entire global polar bear population or 15000 of the estimated 20000 polar bears currently in existence.

Polar bears, often depicted in the media as white lovable teddy bears, are extremely dangerous and can weigh between 700 to 1200 pounds.

Global warming, illegal poaching and natural disasters have placed these majestic bears on the international endangered species list.

The World Wildlife Fund (WWF) is working hard with the Canadian government to protect polar bears from extinction.

With the help of concerned individuals and huge corporations like Coca Cola, the World Wildlife Fund is succeeding in spreading the word about the plight of the polar bears. The reality is, polar bears are not the only animals on the brink of extinction.

There are currently eleven thousand animals on the endangered species list and this number increases significantly each and every day.  Who speaks for them?

Lucikly, the World Wildlife Fund does.

The World Wildlife Fund is dedicated to serve and to protect all species including plants, fish and incests.

Fundit Software does not wish to imagine how the world would be when another species ceases to exist, do you?

The World Wildlife Fund attempts to rehabilitate, rebuild and protect the natural environment so that a species may thrive once again. It is not an easy task and often they are unsuccessful. The fact still remains; they are making an effort and trying to make a difference in the world through their conservation efforts.
